Roger Schwartz was an on-air TV meteorologist in Omaha and Topeka before heading to Hollywood, where he now works for Chockstone as development executive.
He heads up Chockstone’s book-to-film development in liaison with our book scouts. Rog reviews hundreds of new and pre-pub titles each year, scouring the waters for the best potential material.
Roger is a co-producer on nearly a dozen Chockstone projects, including ALL THE OLD KNIVES, starring Chris Pine and Thandie Newton; KILLING THEM SOFTLY, starring Brad Pitt; and THE HOST, starring Saoirse Ronan.
Roger is a magna cum laude graduate of Kenyon College, and has a masters degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University.
He completed the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television’s Professional Program in Producing.
